Salt Lake City, UT (Deseret News) - Mountain Air Virtual Airlines has recently been awarded a contract to provide air transportation for the Utah Jazz for the upcoming 08-09 season. The flights will be based out of MA's Salt Lake City Hub.  However, all MA pilots are encouraged to fly any or all of the flights listed. All flights must be flown using the MA Boeing 757-200.  Special modifications have been made to accommodate the demands of the Jazz players and staff.  Greg Miller commented that the entire Jazz organization was impressed by the level of service provided during the last season.

Mountain Air pilots do not need to fly the routes on the real exact date and time.  When setting up for your flight, the scheduled date and time must be used in the simulation environment.  The team relies on prompt service and adherence to the schedule.  Use the "Charter" for your flight number when logging your PIREP.  Routing is up to you.  In the route comments you can include the flight number listed below. Flight times were developed using MSFS auto-route generator with a fudge factor.  There are 64 flights that make up the schedule and some assumptions were made on team departures, dep. times, etc.  Anyone completing and logging all the legs will get an honorable mention on the KSLC hub page.
