| Welcome to the Spring Fly-in for St. George! Scheduled for March 17, 2007 at 2:00 MDT. Bring your best low and slow equipment to St. George, UT (KSGU) for a VFR flight though Zion's National Park to our Training Facility at Cedar City (KCDC). The group flight portion should be under an hour, so come in and join the fun! | |
| Depart from the airport of your choice and land at St. George, UT between 1:30 and 2:00 MDT. We'll then depart between 2:00 and 2:15 for Zion's National Park. |

| From St. George, head northeast and follow I-15 and the Virgin River. Continue to follow the rive as it takes a bend to the east, near the MATZO intersection. |

| Turn north, following the river, up the canyon, past the Three Patriarchs. Continue north where the road forks back to the east. We should enter the canyon at or above 7,500. |

| Continue up the canyon past Angel's Landing and into (above!) the Narrows. Follow the Narrows, gaining altitude to make the pass over to Cedar City. Climb and maintain 11,500. Optionally, you can swing over and hit Bryce Canyon and land at KBCE, by continuing north. |

| At the top of the Narrows, turn northeast and follow the small canyon over to Cedar City. Continue north-northeast to Bryce Canyon. |

| Arrive at Cedar City and enjoy the Mountain Air Pilots lounge. |
