Mail Route 7
Welcome to a new challenge.
Mail Route 7 is a supply contract we have received to ferry supplies and fishermen to several hunting/fishing lodges in the backwoods of the Yukon.
This route is designed to be flown by Floatplane - the starting point at Sheldon Lake (CFS7) is the only spot with an official airport.
Wheeled planes and helicopters can be used for a different challenge. Your navigation skills will be pushed to the limit.
VFR flying at its finest!
Mail Route 8

A bonus run for all the great PAJN pilots, this route is a painfully easy jaunt between McGrath, AK and Homer, AK. Enjoy the scenery, enjoy the easy airports, enjoy the glory, you all deserve it.
Mail Route 9

A relaxing jaunt through Central Alaska on a Round Robin Route out of the ever popular Fairbanks.
Relaxing approaches into reasonably sized fields for a change.
Beware of the trees!!
Mail Route 10

Enjoy the fjords on this Mail and Parcel delivery route circling the spectacular island Of Kodiak.
Some interesting approaches..err...for those who worry about those kinda things! Make sure your insurance premiums are paid up...just in case.

After months of negotiation, we have been awarded a contract to fly mail in Alaska! This is a great chance for us to work with the Virtual US Postal Service (real USPS would probably sue if we used their name!). Because of the type of flying required for these routes, there will be some restrictions placed on the pilots.
Below is a listing of Mail Route Requirements:

VFR Only - No Exceptions

DO NOT fly in the clouds...we could lose our contracts for FAR violations. Within 1200 ft of the ground, you only need 1 mile visiblity and clear of clouds. Picking your way up canyons, following rivers, following roads, reading the map...great fun and a good skill builder too!
Aircraft selection is up to the pilot. Please bear in mind some of these strips are 1000 ft. long gravel.
Have Fun!!

Why should I fly the mail routes??
