PAJN Juneau Mail Route 5 - Flight No's: JM05a - JM05b

So, you've survived Mail Routes 1 through 4 and your piloting skills are honed to a keen edge.
Ready for something new?
Mail Route 5 is just what you're after. The airports are easy, the timetable is easy, the scenery is beautiful. The challenge on Mail Route 5 is to plan your route carefully, not get trapped in a valley that ends
in a 20,000 ft. peak. With this route you fly the flanks of mighty Mount McKinley!

Please scroll over Origin or Destination for Airport Information or click to enter AIRNAV website.
This route is Day/VFR only. Try to stay away from that impressively big rock in the middle of the route.
Aircraft selection is up to the pilot but we highly recommend a STOL bushplane.
Oxygen is required for flights over 12,500 ft. on our certificate. We do not provide Oxygen. Stay below 12,500. ft!
Use the GPS map function to guide you to the necessary ravines enroute.
