Why should I fly Mail?
"But John, I have moved up from those little prop planes", you complain. "Why would I want to go back to 120 knots when I can blast along on autopilot at FL350 and Mach .80?"
Some others here at Mountain Air have wondered the very same thing. I recruited a few brave test pilots for my Mail Routes. Depending on pilot skill, some were braver than others! HAHA!
"I am still wondering why I should step <back> to a prop John", you continue to query. Some people just like a challenge. I am one of those people, and some of my test pilots were of the same blood. Here are some comments to let you know what you are missing if you don't fly the Mail Routes.

I come into Carmacks.......bleedin' great long r/w...and I touch down about 50 yds short!!!...wheels sink into the grass, then we slide into the start of the r/w...Baron flips up on her tail... which breaks off.......then we have a ball of fire..sliding down the r/w....long trail of black smoke. Barry Cook (MTN475) - speaking of an easy stop on Cargo Route 1.
