Route 12
by Ron Jorgensen - MTN1652
Floats..Amphibious..whatever works for you. It is designed for flight at low altitudes. Varying weather is suggested to change the difficulty of the flights. Splash flights are VFR ONLY! No autopilot either!! If you want to fly high watching an autopilot, this division is not for you.
Depart - 5AK (Smokey Lake)
Arrive - 62AK (Willis Lake SPB)
WX: Set your weather to 3,700' Overcast 8 Miles in Snow Winds 240/08
Distance = 125 Mi.
Depart Smokey Lake on the SW W/W and immediately veer to the left to clear the hill right in front of you. Your MAX assigned is 3,500'.
Follow the valley/road SW. Approximately 5 miles prior to Sheeps Mountain you will have to slide a little to the left to clear the mountain.
Passing by Graham descend to 1500' and proceed on to the Willis Lake SPB.
Ron's Advice:
Willis Lake is a small lake so plan accordingly. Jeff's Advice:
I think this puddle has shrunk since Splash 10!. How Tough Do You Want it to Be? Screenshots THE END Back to the PAJN SPLASH!
