This is the route below, starting from PAJN (Juneau)

We have to take a couple of tons of fresh supplies to the tiny communities situated around "McCarthy no 2", these are encircled on the map
First leg is Northwest to Northway PAOR.....any plane that can carry a couple of tons will do, Northway airstrip is just over 5000ft, so you'll be ok in the 757 (Pig) if your a Pig person!
At Northway the 2 tons of supplies are offloaded, and put aboard the Beech 1900 (Piglet) of which you are the pilot (you can't help being a Pig person now!)
The Second Leg
Heading approx 190d, the next stop is Chisana, CZN, some 50 odd miles, this
has a 3000ft gravel runway, and lies in a wide valley, sometimes, visibility can
be a problem.....but what the heck!
You unload half a ton there, then on to
McCarthy no2, 15Z, this has a 3000ft gravel runway also, in a section of
undulating land, its raised up (at one end) compared to the surrounding land,
but can be hard to spot
You unload the remaining supplies here, then load you favorite bush plane.
The Third Leg
Now more fun and games....we leave McCarthy, headed roughly West for Swift Crk, AK31, this is a 2000ft strip, but seems smaller, and with a tricky turn across the river
From there we go West to Long Lake, 4AK3, this has a 1150ft R/W, but is straightforward.
Leaving Long Lake, on a heading roughly of 120d, we follow a river to Jakes Bar, a 1600 footer, approaching across a river
Next little settlement, (approx heading 060 dgs) is May Creek, MYK, which has 2700ft to play in, its in flatlands, but can be hard to spot.
After that, one more stop, and were home and dry......the famous Glacier Creek, GKZ, a 1400ft strip, with two solid buildings at the end of the strip, heading is roughly 060, but you wont be able to follow it (mountains) just follow the valley.....(nowhere on this leg, do you need to fly higher, than 3000ft)
By now, if your still in one piece, you've earned a drink and some shut-eye, if you can get into one of those concrete buildings at Glacier Crk, their stacked full of booze!.....never think it, from the.....outside ;)
Of course, all these legs can be done singly, if you've just got an hour to spare, and if you fancy the return journey, just put the route in reverse!
