NEW ZEALAND | Long Haul | Cargo Routes |

Welcome to The Swirl

"Brash yanks are taking over our cargo business!" - Queenstown post reporter

The beauty of New Zealand is breathtaking.  High mountains flanked by green valleys and aqua lakes.  This area is so nice, it was used as the backdrop for the Lord of the Rings movies.  So spectacular, it could only be a fantasy world.  With a population spread across the countryside, Mountain Air has moved in to fill the need for cargo delivery services.

Welcome to The Swirl!  Our first cargo route in New Zealand.  Get ready to deal with some mountains.  Why is this route called The Swirl?  If you look at the route map, you will see why.  This route has long and short legs.  If you prefer long legs first, begin at Mount Cook and work your way to Queenstown.  If you start in Queenstown, the legs get longer and longer as you go.  Unfortunately, New Zealanders build long runways.  Suggested aircraft for this route would be any prop/turboprop single or twin.  Try to stay low and enjoy the scenery!!
